The CVHM is located on the North shore of the Hourtin lac, 60 km North of Bordeaux at the East side of the famous Medoc Wine Region. With 58 km2, the Hourtin lake is one of the largest natural freshwater lake in France. It extends from within the MeĢdoc on a length of about 20 km and a width of 5 km.
Hourtin village is just 10km (10mn drive) away from the CVHM.
